Via Public Transportation – MBTA

Boston’s New Waterfront is accessible via the MBTA Silver Line Waterfront, originating at South Station, which features a food court, public restrooms, lockers, and parking.

The Silver Line Waterfront service extends to Logan Airport and the Boston Marine Industrial Park, providing a direct connection to and from South Station, and various points in between.

The MBTA #4 Bus provides a connection to the Waterfront from North Station and points throughout Downtown Boston (Mon – Fri only).

The MBTA #7 Bus connects the Waterfront to Downtown Crossing and City Point, South Boston.

MBTA Bus Routes #448/449 and #455/459 from North of Boston also service the area. MBTA

Bus routes #9, 11 and 47 connect various parts of Boston with the South Boston neighborhood and major transit stations including Broadway Station off the MBTA Red Line. From Broadway Station take the Red Line inbound to South Station and transfer to the Silver Line Waterfront.
